XPress Steel was built by John Montgomery, a construction industry professional with more than 30 years of hands-on experience solving jobsite problems.
After spending the last 8 years working closely with steel fabricators and erectors, he saw the same issue again and again: projects were being slowed down by immediate material needs that could not wait. Sometimes the original buy-out missed a scope item. Sometimes material arrived damaged, went missing, or was needed faster than expected. Other times, long galvanizing timelines created delays that put pressure on the schedule.
He started this company to help solve that problem.
